Ian Pennington is a luither working entirely on his own based in Liverpool UK. He produces handmade guitars in Liverpool and makes them to a high quality finish, he still makes guitars using the old tradition skills in a modern world still making them by hand as he does not constructed any of his guitar using guitar moulds to hold the guitar shape during construction of the instruments as Ian believes this causes stress on the guitar body and can cause small hair line fractures on the guitar and it can affect the tonal properties of the guitar, both acoustic guitars and classical, are his speciality but also builds electric guitars to order as well.
Each guitar is made over a period of time, allowing the wood to rest between stages of construction. F
